(Updated) Cyber Weekend Deals Guide

Before getting to all the good deals today, I first wanted to say THANK YOU to those of you who collectively helped grant over 60 wishes yesterday for kids at the Home for Little Wanderers. When I opened up the sign-up doc last night I had tears in my eyes seeing everything fulfilled—I wish I could hug each one of you! I’m starting with designer items that rarely get discounted, followed by practical purchases on sale, and then picks from my go-to, petite-friendly brands! Be sure to skim Other Notable Sales at the bottom, as there are some new finds like a a genuine leather jacket that fit amazingly off the rack. Like last year, I also noted GIFT PICK on a few good options for both guys and gals on your list!

The Deal: Designer items on sale with free international shipping. I have ordered a few times from these luxury good sites before and have always had a positive experience with fast shipping.

1. SSENSE

YSL is a great designer choice for petite ladies, as I’ve found the long straps to be easy to temporarily shorten by either crisscrossing them under the flap, or by using a chain clip under the flap. The chain strap styles are also convertible, thus super versatile – I use mine as a crossbody bag, shoulder bag with shortened chain, or tuck the chain fully inside to use the bag as a clutch!

Retailer notes: Free international shipping to a number of countries, signature brand packaging included. Thanks to those who let me know about the 30% off sale that just started on Saint Laurent’s own site! I wish they made it possible to filter out sold out items though.

The deal: 20% off site wide. Been waiting for this to pick up another sheet set, as they rarely have promos!

• GIFT PICK: Luxe Cotton Sateen core sheet set. As a sleep deprived new mom, I turned to Instagram last year seeking the best sheets and an overwhelming number of you suggested this brand. I promptly ordered this set and have yet to look back. It’s nothing life changing but is a solid set of smooth, crisp and comfortable sheets that are cool and breathable in the summer. This cable knit sweater above is probably my top pick from the sale (followed by the fair isle one below). Beautiful chunky braided knit and a smooth knit texture. I would prefer an XS though, as xxs was slim fit on me and I like my cable sweaters to be a little slouchier.

The deal: lots of Cyber Monday doorbusters + free shipping over $25

• GIFT PICK: Martha Stewart cast iron dutch oven pots for over 60% off and free shipping on orders over $25. Best time of the year to buy these at a seriously good deal. My mom is an avid cook and uses these for soup, stew, braising, all the good stuff! Note a 2qt size is pretty small, so a 6qt size is more suited for family meals (and is priced at a bargain for under $65).

They are a little big on me at the waist (but not as big as AT pants typically are on me) and would look so good on someone who fits them properly. If you’re in search of a petite-friendly genuine leather jacket, I tried on a bunch here and their Balfern leather jacket (more shrunken in fit in the torso and sleeves) worked best on me. A size 00 fit me like a dream with no alterations needed. For a more minimal look with less zippers and buckles, the Dalby leather jacket in 00 is also pretty good, just a little bit less fitted on me compared to the Balfern.

(they do get you with shipping fees though : / We opted for the regular Anywhere Chair instead of the “My First” size, and it’s a nice size for her to grow into (she is currently 15 months old and loves to sit in it).

I tried on a bunch of items and from a value perspective, I thought their Gretel wool pants fit great (no waist gap) and were a nice, thick and warm 100% wool with full lining.

I have two coats from them that I love, and Nick loves their shorter track / bomber style jackets. Their size 0 womens fits like a 00 on me, however I get the sleeves shortened and the belt loops shifted up. Size 2 (S) mens fits Nick well and he’s about 5’8″ 165lbs).
