Hello hello ~ as another year comes to an end, I wanted to thank each of you for your readership and support for my corner of the blogosphere. This site started as a creative outlet for me and continues to be something I’m very passionate about, whether it’s to share fashion finds, good eats, or pieces of our lives like our marriage this year. I know several of you are longtime readers whom I may never meet, but greatly appreciate from the bottom of my heart. Happy last week of 2015, and I can’t wait to see what 2016 brings!
Here’s a few of my favorite looks, tutorials, and posts from this past year:

On the tutorial front, some frequently-requested DIYs and how-to’s from this past year:
– Styling a blanket scarf
– Voluminous high ponytail + pincurls updo
– DIY floral crowns + combs
– Everyday hair curling
– DIY bridal birdcage veil + belt
And last but not least, a few posts from the best time of our lives thus far, having finally tied the knot in the city where we met over a decade ago! Our hearts are still full from being joined by all of our family and friends from around the world.

Which were some of your favorite looks and fashion finds this year?

Hi Jean, are you red Hunter boots the gloss version or the original version? Also, do they fit true to size? Thanks!
Looking cute as always love 🙂

Happy New Year Jean ! Thank you very much for your blog !
I was wondering if you actually bought the Daylesmoore Burberry coat in size 0 or 2 and why. I was reading your review and could not decide which size to go for. Thank you Jean !
The windowpane skirt with those knee high boots is just… whew, girl. ♥
Let´s try to wear that "special" dress you hide in your wardrobe more often. Why? Read it in my lifestyle advice column.

Many thanks for all of your fashion inspiration in 2015, and for sharing such special moments in yours and Nick's lives (your wedding video made me cry!)
I've been following your blog for just over a year now (and have enjoyed looking through your archives too, on lazy Sundays!) and love your cheerful writing style. You've also inspired me to be more adventurous with my office-fashion.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge and creativity Jean!! Have a Happy New Year!!!
Thank you for everything you have shared with us this year and congrats again on your wedding! I only can hope that I can find a love like yours. Cannot wait to see what's in store for 2016!
I stumbled upon your blog a few months ago, and I just want to let you know that you make a difference!
I've struggled with accepting having a petite figure for about as long as I can remember, in large part due to not knowing how to dress it – I've had a total disconnect between how I WANT to present myself to the world and my limitations in actually doing so. I really felt kinda hopeless, and since finding your blog, I have taken a different and decidedly more positive approach to the process.
Of course you always look beautiful, but I have a hunch that you are a beautiful person as well. I'll spare you a novel; in short, I really appreciate what you do and the positive impact that following your blog has had on me. I've never felt more beautiful and appreciative of my self. Sincerely!
Best wishes for the new year!
Joy

Happy 2016, Jean!! You inspired my fashion style. Love to read your blog!
Jean I am so looking forward to your 2016 posts. I've recently discovered your site several weeks ago and you have no idea how much you've inspired my fashion sense and gave me optimism for finding clothes that fit and look stylish on my petite frame. I'm a 40+ mom of two and was losing me sense of style. You've taken what is a frustrating process for me and gave me a renewed sense of encouragement and enthusiasm. I appreciate all that you share and hope that you will continue to represent the super petite for many many years to come. Happy New Year!!
You had amazing year! Love all your photos! Wishing you a happy 2016!!

My favorite find was the Ariat York boots! I did a pinterest search on boots that fit petites and your pic came up with the boots. Ever since then I've been following your blog. Your blog really helped me to come out of my comfort zone of jeans and a raggedy sweater! Even though I am more curvy than you are, I've gotten more inspired to try new looks and mix up things that I already have in my closet. I think my husband appreciates the change as well. We have three boys so I have to exert my feminine side to balance things out in our house! Thanks so much for sharing your fashion with us!
Jean – I found your blog this year and it has really given me inspiration to pep up my own wardrobe. Thank you for your great posts and ideas. I look forward to them so please keep it up. Wishing you and Nick the best in 2016. Monika
I found your blog this fall and I love it. You have such great style and I really appreciate the details on fit.
Dear Jean, I am a silent reader for some time now and wanted to give you a huge compliment: You just always look so elegant, even when you are wearing an casual outfit! As a mum of a toddler, I would love some tips for an practical yet elegant wardrobe and some pieces to invest in.
Thank you so much for all the work you dedicate to your blog! I wish you all the best for 2016!

I started following your blog this Spring after searching for fashion blogs with classic style. I'm so happy I found you. Your blog and beautiful pictures have brightened my year. Can't wait to see what's coming in 2016!
Hi Jean,
Happy New Year! Thank you for all that you do! I can't tell you how much I appreciate you sharing your fashion finds with us 🙂 A lot of my favorite items in my closet came recommended by you! I'm excited for all your future posts in 2016 <3
On a completely random note, I wasn't able to find your review on Triangl Swimwear – was that taken down? I'm considering ordering their swimsuits and wanted to reference your post for fit. Thank you!
I loved all your outfits from 2015. Congrats on such an amazing year!

Thank you for sharing your looks and tidbits of your life as an escape for a mom of five girls! I love your honest reviews, tips, and photos, you make it look so easy. I found your earlier posts on how to look older and taller very helpful. Although I might have not mastered it yet, I do feel I have improved and boosted my confidence greatly and would like to thank you. One last thing, have you considered writing a book sharing your expertise, tips and tricks, mistakes, and articles into a book. I remembered when I was at the library looking for how to dress, there was none that addressed dressing for petites! It would be so helpful to have a book with articles like how to look older and taller tucked near my closet so that I can better emulate the look. I know I could just look it up on my laptop, but with a book it would be so much quicker to flip to the page, plus, my daughters would be able to read it (because their electronic time is limited), and lastly,I would buy so many copies to give as gifts! Just a thought. Have a Happy New Year.
Happy holidays! I hope that you have a wonderful New Years 🙂 I always appreciate reading your blog and get many an inspiration for petite-friendly options!
Speaking of: Any recommendations for a petite-friendly, boyfriend-style cashmere cardigan? I would like to splurge for the holidays!
I love this 2015 roundup post! So many of your fun posts from this year to revisit haha. Hope you have a very happy 2016 as well!!
