As a deal hunter by nature, this is one of my favorite few days to cover each year and the sales did not disappoint. Just wondering since you’ve tried both styles, do you like the J. Crew Parke blazer or the J. Crew Schoolboy blazer better? I sure value your opinion!

Hi Jean! I just found your blog and love all your outfits and styling tips. I’ve been looking for loungewear like the A&F outfit you’ve shown here – in that exact color too! I can’t seem to find that color on the website though, would it be the cream or grey?

Hi Leslie, my set is the cream, I’m hoping they’ll restock it!

In case you see this, I purchased the Sophie blazer because I love the one from JCrew Factory that is similar. I didn’t realize until now that the JCrew version is dry-clean only. I was wondering if you’ve ever washed it at home or if you dry clean it – hope you get a chance to get back to me. Love this blog!

Hi Yuki, I have washed mine at home! When I do, I always make sure to turn it inside out, place it in a garment bag and wash with cold water. I also never put it in the dryer. Hope this helps!

What are your reviews on the Lululemon Stretch Cap?

    Looks great on your!

Thank you Cherrie! The stretch without any adjustable band in the back is really comfortable, but overall fit will totally depend on sizing and how it works on your head. I wish they had S, M, L instead of S/M for example since it’s a tad loose on me if I were to go running with it.

    Hi Jean,
I couldn’t find details about the blue denim you are wearing on Instagram with the Regent wool blazer. I have been looking for a mid rise straight jeans and what you are wearing looks perfect.
    Thanks in advance!

Hi Shweta! Sorry I forgot to include that photo here, but they’re J.Crew curvy straight jeans in sz 25 petite (linked here https://www.liketoknow.it/ltk/7gSnGuEv30auUb4rQtl2zq . The denim has more comfortable stretch to it than most of their other denim styles which tend to be stiffer. I’ve also never tried curvy cut jeans before (since i’m fairly straight shaped) but they have a higher waist to hip ratio and actually worked well.

Thanks for this post! I am considering investing in the JCrew Regent Blazer. Do you have any thoughts on the wool flannel vs. four-season stretch versions? I am also on the fence between 00P or 0P (I am typically XXS in JCrew sweaters) if you have any insights on fit.

Hi Emily, I havent tried the four season but I like this lightweight wool one and it feels like it could be worn 3 seasons. I thought this was a tailored fit, so if you’re on the fence I would go with the bigger size in case you want to layer a medium or thicker sweater underneath!

Hi! Where is the sweater from that you paired with the Ann Taylor skirt? Love it – and you also pretty much created my Christmas list this year! ;0) Thank you – this website is so useful to me – it is so difficult to find good quality petite clothing!
