Affordable Work Tote + Leopard Ankle Booties

how to style leopard ankle boots

Sole Society booties 5 c/o + tote bag, J.Crew factory coat (old; similar), H&M sweater xs (current version), Ann Taylor jeans 00p, hems cut (reviewed here)

My leopard flats and pumps have proven to be some of the most versatile shoes in my wardrobe, so I’ve been looking forward to trying a winterized version with a little more coverage! I like that these booties are in a darker color scheme, with an elongating pointy (but rounded off) toe and sculpted heel. If leopard boots are on the adventurous side for you, these also come in a solid cognac brown suede or black.

I first wrote about their Zeda vegan tote earlier this summer as a wonderfully roomy work, school, travel or mom bag. It’s a little bigger than other totes I’ve shared about, but if you need to haul around a lot of stuff, this works without completely overwhelming a small frame. I use it to carry my laptop, a change of shoes (if commuting), snacks and makeup with room to spare, and it comes with a large detachable zipper pouch for keeping my wallet and small items secure.

This tote was sold out for a while but just got restocked in a number of neutral colors including cognac brown and black! Just FYI, some of the colors are priced a little higher than the others, but the most classic ones are priced under $50. Sole Society sent me one of their updated colors to photograph for this post, but you can see my old Zeda tote styled in a few outfits over this year (here in looks # 1 & 3, here in look #4, and here in look #3).
