You guys blew us away with your support last week for the Edited Pieces launch, so much so that I’ve been heads down and am just popping in now to say a HUGE thank you. I was literally trembling on launch day before clicking the button to push the site live, not sure how the collection would be received, and it was completely beyond my hopes and expectations.
I could not have done this without our small team, including Nick who made the website and took almost all of our model and product photography (using a DIY setup inside our condo!). From your kind and supportive messages, I know you guys could feel what a labour of love this brand is for us.
We’re still working hard to ship all the orders from Wednesday, so for those waiting for an update, I greatly appreciate your patience and understanding. I also apologize that I haven’t been able to get to every message and question, so wanted to take a moment and answer the most frequently asked ones here!
Q: When will items be restocked?
If you’re interested in purchasing a piece that has sold out, please use the “Notify Me When Available” feature, found on each product page, to let us know which size you are interested in. This information is super helpful for us to plan restocks, and those on the list will be first to receive restock notices.
For our reversible Horsebit Belt, we are expecting a restock late January and the notification will first go out to those on the restock notifications list.
For our reversible Duo Coat, as this one is fully handmade and produced in the smallest batches, our coat partner can only make a few dozen at a time. Each wave of restocks will be offered to those on the restock notifications list. So to be honest, this means that it will unfortunately not be available for purchase this winter for many who are interested. I pulled together a few other camel coats below (including several in petite sizing), for those in need of one soon!
Q: Do you offer international shipping?
We don’t currently have international shipping available, but our team is hard at work trying to make it happen! It has been a challenge finding a reliable carrier that doesn’t charge an arm and a leg. Shipping to Canada will hopefully be available before the end of this year.
Q: What if I need to make a return or exchange?
Per the policy on our website, if you’d like to make a return, please email email@example.com within 14 days of your order delivery date. Please note that each shipment of returned items will have $15 deducted from the refund amount to help go toward our return shipping costs and restocking fees. We would love to offer a more lenient policy down the road, but as a small business these costs are currently very high per transaction so we appreciate your understanding.
Q: What if I need to change or cancel my order?
We are unable to cancel orders or change an address or item quantity after an order is placed. However, if you really need to make revisions to an order, please email firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible rather than place a replacement order on your own.
To help ensure that your mailing address is correct before our next Droplet of styles, please create an account in advance on the Edited Pieces website, and fill out your preferred mailing address for a quick and smooth checkout process.
Q: When will the knit set be available?
