These sweater pants (4 colors) first caught my eye last year but sold out so quickly in petites! They finally got restocked recently and oh my, they are good and worth the wait. I’ve hardly taken them off all week except to wash, and even Nick has expressed sweater pant envy! They’re comfy enough to sleep in, can be paired with a cami + blazer for zoom meetings, and make me feel polished even when running errands. Update: The BR pants are nearly sold out in petite, but if you’re interested in the look I’d recommend these Quince cashmere sweatpants which fit me well in a size xs. The difference is the BR ones are more of a tightly woven knit and the Quince are more of a soft and slightly fluffy 100% cashmere.
The knit on the sweater joggers is a warm, sturdy weight but still has some drape to it (composed 50% of their sustainable Lenzing Ecovero blend) and I love the pockets and stretchy wide waistband. They’re tapered in fit but not the most slim cut, which I’ll try to show in a video on Instagram stories. These pants are also seriously versatile – I’ll have to do another post soon with a bunch of pairing ideas as we transition into spring weather!
For anyone who also owns this Amazon sweater (reviewed in this post; also styled here and here) it’s a semi-close match and I’ve been wearing it quite a bit together. It’s definitely not the same color, but both are beige-toned neutrals and it works for me while at home!
Simply top this with a white denim jacket or draped trench for a transitional spring outfit! These are my favorite cushy leather sneakers and a staple tee shirt in my wardrobe that’s not paper thin or sheer (of course, I still wear skin-toned undergarments with anything white). While I’m wearing the pocketed tee here, I reach for the non pocketed more for an overall clean look. The length of their “box cut” style tees are cropped in style, so works nicely on someone shorter and I size up for a slouchier fit. True to the style name, they are a boxier cut which I personally like for half tucking
Ordered the cashmere jogger pants and crew cashmere sweater from Quince… LOVE LOVE them so worth it .. Quality is very nice
Thank you for recommending these Everlane tees, Jean! I’ve been looking for striped tees that fit my petite frame for a couple years, and these are perfect!
I’m so glad to hear this, thank you for sharing!
Only you can make sweatpants look chic. Gorgeous!
You are too kind Val, thank you!
Ugh I want that bag so bad!!!
Love the casual look. Would totally wear this in LA!

Those are so cute! I’ve never even heard of sweater pants, but they look like an upscale version of sweatpants! And in petite!
Yes! The fit, comfort and versatility are the reasons I’ve had these on heavy rotation since I got them 🙂
Have you noticed fabric pilling in this sweatpants? I have recently purchased other brands and they all do that.
Not yet!
I order the Quince cashmere joggers and crew cashmere sweater for my trip . Will let you know how I like them Reviews were very good
Jean, do these bag at the knees after wearing for a bit? I have cashmere leggings that are so cozy, but the knees bag after a few hours and look really sloppy. Thanks for any info!
Hi Molly! They do bag a little bit – I took these photos after wearing 3 days in total and thought it wasn’t bad. I believe any sweater knit pant would bag a little at the knees after wear. However when I wash and lay these flat to dry it reshapes itself.
I love this!
I just purchased the slouchy Amazon sweater and noticed it has some cashmere in it. How do you wash it?
Based on the price point, if it has any cashmere I believe it’s a very very small bit. Regardless I wash all my sweaters the same way – inside out in a mesh garment bag on the delicates cycle in cold water, and never machine dry if possible!
