A holiday deal on Dyson

dyson v10 vacuum black friday sale

Thank you to Dyson and ShopStyle for partnering on this post.

The Dyson cordless vacuum has been a staple in our household for several years, and is now even more of a must-have with a toddler (who has a penchant for crushing cereal puffs in the most random places). If one of their vacuums has been on your wish list, good news – I’m partnering with Dyson to feature their Cyclone v10 Absolute vacuum, currently available on their website on promotion for $399 ($200 off of the original price)! When ordering directly on Dyson.com, you receive complimentary 2-day shipping, free tools with auto-registration, and they also have exclusive colors like a sleek black option in addition to this blue one.

With visitors coming in and out of our small space this holiday, our vacuum works overtime on all sorts of surfaces and messes in our home (including our flocked living room floor … the price to pay for a pretty white tree). These days in a typical cleaning session, I’m going from vacuuming the couch (getting all the little nooks amongst the tufting using the crevice tool), to around Nori’s high chair, her play mat, and inevitably back to the high chair. Neither Nick nor myself are go-getters when it comes to chores, but the ease of use and suction power of the Cyclone v10 Absolute makes cleaning almost feel fun.

For the gadget lover, this would also make a useful gift that will surely be collecting dust (but in a good way ; ) I gifted one to my parents a year ago and my dad cleans more now than he ever has in his life. The Dyson Supersonic hair dryer and Airwrap styler are on my own wish list (hint hint Nick) – if anyone owns one of these, I’d love to hear how you like it!

I love my Dyson Air Wrap and I think you would also. No need for the dryer if you have it as you partially dry you hair and then curl it damp. Beautiful curls and less heat equals healthy hair!

Oh my gosh, I adore my Dyson! As someone with a disability that makes regular vacuuming impossible to do, the Dyson cordless stick vacuums have been so helpful for keeping the dust (and kitty litter) away.

Thank you for all the great & informative posts! Dyson hair dryer is phenomenal. The air styler is great for all your blowout desires (especially for southern volume). Not a fan of the curling accessories unfortunately. T3 curlers rule for my thick & straight locks.

Love your blog that I discovered by chance two years ago.
I’ve got the Dyson cordless hoover that I use almost every single day.
It really transformed my life (very exciting ;))
Also have the Supersonic hairdryer which is great and dries hair so much faster without damaging it.
The Airwrap is amazing, salon finish hair in the comfort of your own home.
It’s pricy but just imagine how much you’ll save on blow outs and it’ll earn itself back quickly.
And it’s so versatile; can achieve such different styles.
    Go for it.

I’m with Andee above. My first thought was where were you and Nori years ago with this promo code when I caved! Being petite definitely impacts all aspects of life, not just fashion. At first glance I am VERY interested in the Airwrap! If anyone has tried it, please do tell, as we wait for Jean to do a review. I will say, I don’t think Dyson is enough on its own if you have heavy pile carpet or a large house. If you have a small apartment with hard surfaces it might be all you need. I agree it does make cleaning a little more fun.

I have super thick hair that usually takes forever to dry, but the dyson hair dryer has been amazing! Cut my dry time in half and leaves my hair much smother. I have fewer flyaways and it all feels incredibly soft without having to take extra time. I love it!

    Hi Jean ,
I have been following and reading your blogs since 2016. I love your style not only because it truly is great but I am also 5’1” petite just like you. I actually love that you have incorporated not just style into the blog but family, baby items, home good, travel etc. For me it resonates because I too have a 1 year old as well as 4 year old and a household to take care of . Ahh the chaos but I love it anyways . :)) Keep it up! 🙂

Hi Jean, I love your blog for petite styling tips but vacuum cleaners is not what I signed up for. Please do not deviate from why I read your blog in the first place.

Hi Gina, I appreciate your feedback! As this is a personal blog, you’ll see me cover a wide variety of topics (including baby items, home goods, travel) that interest me in addition to petite styling tips. Dyson is a brand I’ve used for a very long time and I have purchased their products as gifts for family, so I was very happy to partner with them. It is easy to skip posts or delete emails that don’t appeal to you. Hope you have a great holiday season. xx

I don’t know why I spent so much money on all sorts of different vacuums instead of just getting a dyson. I have the same model and I absolutely love it. I also vacuum way more now so there are no more hair spiders hanging around in corners. My one piece of advice is to always make sure it’s closed tightly because I sometimes deploy the garbage release button and trail around dirt.

Hi – I actually don’t have carpet in my home at all so have only used my Dyson vacuums over the years on hardwood floors and it works great. The tool kit comes with different brushheads so you can try a few and find the one that works best for your surface.

Hi Lisa! It’s an old H&M sweatshirt that I featured last year, but i’ll keep my eyes peeled for anything similar this year.

I bought the AirWrap and it overheated and stopped working after the first use. The Dyson hairdryer had the same problems – about 30% of the dryers had filters that stopped working so the entire tool failed. I wouldn’t recommend it!
