This dress from Ann Taylor looks very simple in the stock photo, but I fell in love after trying it on. As several reviewers mentioned, the shift design feels timeless and Jackie-O inspired, and oh how I enjoy the pockets! If you aren’t familiar with boiled wool, it has a nubbly texture that helps winterize this piece. I can see it being worn layered both under and over tops like turtlenecks and thin sweaters well into our chilly springtime.
Off the rack, this dress in size 00 petite hit at a demure length right at the top of my knees. I had 3 inches hemmed off for a shorter style, but asked my tailor to leave most of the extra material in case I wanted to let it back down in the future. The boiled wool-blend material is stretchy to grace over curves and is fully lined with an invisible back zip.
And the Bobeau drape fleece cardigan is back! I’m wearing xxsp in the mink color and am happy it’s still in such decent shape given how much I wore/abused it last year.
Do you hand wash your Bobeau cardigans or can you get away with putting them in the delicate cycle (perhaps in a laundry bag) without it shrinking?

I would wear the dress with grey tights, however I get so sick of tights outfits during Boston winters I usually just commute in any color pair and remove them once I get to wherever I'm working for the day.

That dress is such a pretty blush color! It looks great the way you styled it and I imagine it also works well with tights, for when temperatures begin to drop even more. I love the nice shape and movement that waterfall cardigan adds to this outfit.

Really like fleece items but they tend to come in very casual styles (hoodies, pullovers, sweats etc). What I like about your cardigan is that it's dressier than most fleece styles.
