Just popping in with a quick hello ~ this past weekend was a dream for Nick and I, as we finally tied the knot and celebrated with our loved ones and closest friends from all over the world. We’re still trying to wind down from all the craziness and will be back to regular posts soon! For now, just sharing a few peeks into our day…
Florals by the talented Boston Pollen
How pretty is the Judy Garland suite at the Lenox hotel? I had previously seen it on CGWP’s blog and had to book it…was in love with all the feminine details, textures, and color scheme. This snap was from the only quiet moment on our wedding day during which I nervously went over my vows to Nick.
Gorgeous, ethereal mix-and-match bridesmaid dresses thanks to BHLDN. Talk about dresses that can extend beyond the wedding day…I would hands-down wear any of these for a formal event, or can see them rocked for an understated yet elegant bridal look with a short birdcage veil. I was also impressed by the fit and sizing of these, which run smaller than typical US brands.
Congratulations on beginning a new chapter together Jean & Nick!
Beautiful details & photographs!
Small world! We looked high and low, everywhere for photographers that were a good fit for what we wanted in our wedding photos, and randomly came across Katch Studios online. Since Nick takes most of my photos, we were probably a little more particular than the average couple with our preferences in a photog. We were just glad Katch was available to travel, and they were amazing to work with!
Hi Christina! Yes they are real flowers made by my florist (to save time on the wedding day), but I'm going to do a DIY tutorial as well!
Yes, we have been living together and totally agree there are always ups and downs in a relationship, but working through them together is what makes each relationship stronger. Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful comment!
Interesting – I actually don't know of that tradition, and I don't think my family does either!
Hi Katherine! Yes they are fresh flowers. I had my florist make them to save time day-of but I plan on doing a tutorial because they are not hard to DIY either!
Thank you! Mine was adult XS. I got measurements from PPS for both the kids 13/14 and the adults large (pasted for ya below) and would've preferred the kids one based on that! It just wasn't in stock at the time. I had to move the belt loops up on mine as they hit lower than my natural waist.

Hi Vanessa! My wedding dress is by Lazaro and evening reception dress is Aidan Mattox – the reception dress I wore looked super similar to the ones my bridesmaids wore from BHLDN, so I could've gone there instead as well for probably a broader selection!
Congrats on the big day! You look stunning.
