Anthropologie petite Deluna floral cardigan

anthropologie deluna cardigan3

Sunday in Brooklyn Deluna cardigan (sold at Anthro) in petites, Loeffler Randall rider bag
LOFT dress (sold out; similar Ann Taylor version now extra 40% off, Louboutin pumps

I fell in love with this delicate floral number on a friend, and wasted little time in ordering. The flower detail is beautiful in-person and is a compliment magnet! I posted this on IG and Facebook as soon as I knew it was a keeper, so hope anyone interested was able to try before petite sizing sold out (most regular sizes still available). I had never heard of Sunday in Brooklyn before, but part of what I like most about Anthropologie (and Nordies) is that they offer exclusive petite sizing from smaller designers who wouldn’t produce it otherwise.

I wanted to mention a few other recent keepers and restocks while items are still available…

1) Banana Republic non-iron sleeveless top in blue stripe (40% off til midnight w/ BRMIDNIGHT). 00 petite was very slim and fitted, with good quality and material.

2) One of my favorite blazers that fit with no alterations needed, the Old Navy ponte-knit blazer (see on me) is now back in regular, tall, and petite sizing in classic navy blue and a “bouquet” pink color. The fit is exactly like last season’s. It’s a very shrunken style so I wouldn’t recommend the petite length for anyone taller than ~5’1″.

3) A few of you have asked for an update when the Modcloth striped skirt from this post is available again – it’s been restocked (wearing S in my post).anthropologie deluna cardigan2
Back to this Deluna cardigan – despite its name, this item is not a sweater knit. The sleeves and back have a stretchy, waffle-y texture and feels more like a lightweight jacket. Sizing is true to size. I’m wearing xxs petite which is a casual fit. There’s extra room in the torso, but the delicate, flowy nature of the design makes it not an issue in my opinion.
anthropologie deluna cardiganThis piece has been perfect for occasions when a cardigan feels too plain or casual, and a blazer is too formal. I showed it here with a solid dress, but also have been loving it simply over a white tank top with jeans. This LOFT dress is now sold out, but the very similar Ann Taylor version (see my review) is still available in most sizes for a reduced price plus extra 40% off.

Love the bag! Is it the medium or large sized one? I couldn't find any measurements in the link since it is so old.

I'm a huge fan of this blog, but I'm not in love with this cardigan. Hmm… for me it's too avant garde to the point that it looks like a craft project.
