Happy Tuesday, friends! We had a great weekend catching up with friends and exploring our own city as a family. As the weekend wound down it dawned on us that Father’s Day is this Sunday, June 19! If you’re in need of a last minute gift, I pulled together a few trusty ideas that all have fast shipping options or are easy to pick up.
1. Wine Preserver
This came highly recommended by a friend and has great reviews. Coravin makes a few different systems that can preserve an open bottle of wine for weeks to years! Some of their products are available on Amazon with Prime shipping, they have a wider selection on their website though may ship slower.
2. Magnetic Wristband
Perfect for the father figure who loves a DIY project. This magnetic wristband will hold screws, nail, drill bits etc. for convenience while working on a project.
3. Rothy’s Sneakers
They gave me a code for a limited time! Use WANG20 for $20 off your first order of $100 or more. Last year they introduced men’s styles and Nick is now a convert. He wears this sneaker on regular rotation and finds it to be supportive, comfortable, lightweight and easy to slip on and off due to the stretch. They’re also machine washable!
In terms of shipping times, I’ve been surprised by how quickly my Rothy’s orders arrive via standard shipping – often in 2 days for the East Coast. But please note their free standard shipping is listed as being 3 – 7 days so may arrive after Father’s Day.
4. Pickleball Set
I’m far from athletic but LOVE a good pickleball game! It’s easier to learn and more of a fun, leisurely sport for me than tennis. I’ve heard more neighborhoods and towns are now adding pickleball courts to parks, and you could also play at home if you have a flat driveway.
5. Golf Net
For the golfer who wants to practice his game at home. This particular net comes with a mat to hit the ball off of, so you won’t need to worry about divots in the grass.
6. 10 Piece Bar Set
This sleek 10-piece bar tool set looks sleek and has great reviews!
7. Local Gift Cards
Gift cards from local favorites are quick to pick up and always appreciated. I’ve shared some ideas below:
- Favorite coffee or breakfast spot
- Golf course / driving range
- Car wash or detail
- A favorite restaurant
- Sporting goods or hardware store
I just bought the tool wrist magnet which is such a cool idea. Thank you for the tips and all of your amazing posts.
That’s what I’m thinking I’ll get for my Dad! Thank you for your kind note x
