Since I initially came across Quince a while back, I’ve gotten a lot of requests to share more reviews! Aside from knits and silk blouses, I’ve also liked their Turkish towels (pretty decent and plush! we have a few sets since 2 years ago) and have heard from others who like their bedding, too. I have also tried some small leather goods and wasn’t that impressed with those, but would love to hear any of your Quince hits and misses! I did notice they started offering petite lengths in their ponte pants but have not tried myself.
As mentioned in prior posts, they rarely have promos due to slim margins, but I reached out and they gave me code EXTRAPETITE5 for 5% off a first order of $100+
1. Cashmere Sweatpants
I had eyed these for a while but assumed that the length would be too long. Luckily it turns out that the xs is indeed petite-friendly due to the banded bottom cuffs. These are very soft and lightweight and feel extremely cozy for lounging or working from home.
I love how they make cardigans and sweaters in the exact same colors as the pants so you can mix and match your own set. I will note that I have tried several of their tops and cardigans and while everything has been petite friendly, the most petite friendly top is their shrunken cashmere sweatshirt.
Note that all of their cashmere is on the lighter weight side, but now that I have some experience making knits and know how much producing with cashmere costs, I find the value to be pretty good on Quince knits. To offer these prices, I believe they go direct from the factory to the consumer as most of my orders were shipped from overseas.
2. Duster Cardigan
A lot of times dusters can be too long, but as you can see this one is fairly petite friendly and hits right at my knees. This can be thrown on over leggings, workwear, or over a jogger set to be extra cozy.
3. Alpaca crewneck sweater
If you are eyeing the Everlane sweater that I wear very frequently this is a similar option that I had been wanting to give a try! It has a very similar cut to Everlane’s alpaca sweater, but actually fits a bit smaller and is little lighter in weight. This Quince sweater has lower wool content, so if you found the Everlane one to be too itchy then perhaps give this one a try. Also see it styled on me here and here. Note: I have found both sweaters to be heavier shedders, but I like the silhouettes enough to keep wearing!
4. Open Cardigan Sweater
For a shorter alternative, they also have an open cardigan sweater which is a circle silhouette similar to the popular BFD cardigan, but the Quince sweater is made of a lighter weight cashmere in comparison to BFD which is more textured and thick.
5. Cashmere Turtleneck Dress
I previously reviewed their cashmere turtleneck dress (see my review ; also styled on me here and here). Note this is a straight cut dress with no waist definition, so I usually wear it with a belt! I have this one in two colors.
6. Men’s Cashmere Waffle Sweatshirt
Picked this one up for Nick in size small (it was very fitted, so size up for guys if they want a more casual fit) Bonus: you can borrow this one when you want a more oversized fit pullover! At the time I ordered it for Nick this women’s version wasn’t available, but it’s now fully stocked and looks like a nice option for a textured crewneck pullover.
I also ordered their Ultra-Stretch 24/7 Smart Pant which comes in a 28 – 34″ inseam. I accidentally ordered a size down for Nick and they were too snug, so would say that these run TTS.
If you’ve tried any Quince pieces, I’d love to hear your thoughts!
I bought a cashmere sweater from them and I really like it. Now I want to buy something else from them made of cashmere.
Did you find the tan color sweatpants to be see through at all? I’ve been eyeing them for ages but haven’t m concerned about whether undergarments would be visible through them and the reviews don’t seem to address that. Thanks!!
Super cute matching cashmere set! That might be just the thing for a 16-hr flight I have coming up. Would love to see a post on outfits for travel/long haul flights. Thanks!
I’m curious as to what you thought of their silk blouses from a sizing perspective. I got an XS – it feels like butter but it’s just too wide/long – it works fine under a sweater – I have pleaded with them to do petite sizing in their shirts – hopefully soon!
Hi Zoe, I have the notch collar silk blouse and it fits me fine because it drapes and isn’t boxy! The length also wasn’t too long on me compared to most silk blouses I own.
Heyy Jean, where is that amazing mirror from?!
It was a Homegoods find several years ago!
Thanks Jean! I’ve been going to Home Goods twice a week lately lol. I did manage to snag one today though!
Love Quince! I was gifted a cashmere jogging suit (pants and hooded zip in black) for Christmas. It is comfortable, a perfect weight (warm and cozy but not too heavy) and S was a perfect size/length for my height: 5’2″. I can wear this here in the northeast for 3/4 seasons and hooded zip in summer on chilly nights. I will be buying another in a lighter color.
I recently purchased Quinces cashmere jogger/cashmere pullover as well! As a curvy petite at 4’11” I REALLY struggle with sizing and length but I thought this set was PERFECT. The joggers were not too long and I felt true to size. Also, so soft! My only complaint is how fuzzy the pieces get after washing as instructed. But, I guess I can forgive that considering the pieces only seem o get softer and softer. 🙂
So glad you’ve found their pieces to be a great fit as well, Janise!
Hi Jean. Thanks for sharing! I will definitely need to try them. I would also recommend NakedCashmere, which has very high quality cashmere. Their joggers and cropped pants are very petite friendly!
Thanks for the recommendation, I’ll have to look into them!
