After sharing my winter outfits video I received a few questions about how to keep your legs warm while wearing skirts and dresses in the colder months. I happened to be trying out some new fleece lined tights and LOVE them! They have a semi-sheer look from the outside, but are a nice thickness with cozy fleece lining the inside – so clever. You can see my video of them here!
I’m wearing these sheer fleece lined tights which only come in one size (fairly petite friendly), but has multiple options for color and thickness of the fleece lining. I got the 200/Thin Fleece in “Rk-Black”. I also ordered this style that ships more quickly, and will update on how they compare once they arrive! And if you’re looking for opaque black fleece lined tights, I have this black pair in “petite.”
These are a great alternative when opaque black tights are too stark or plain for an outfit. I really could’ve used these when I worked in a professional office, when my winter uniform often defaulted to black tights + black skirt + black shoes since it took me too much effort to come up with outfits with different colored tights. These tights are “faux sheer” in that it looks like some skin is peeking through, but you’re really seeing the tan colored fleece lining! I also love that the fleece lining stops at the ankle so the tights won’t be too thick at the foot area and make your shoes fit too tight.
