Saks OFF 5TH 50% Early Black Friday Deals

Thank you to Saks OFF 5TH and ShopStyle for partnering on this post.

Another one of my no-brainer uniforms lately is tall boots, fitted pants, and an oversized sweater for a little contrast. This look features finds from Saks OFF 5TH, where you can take 50% off during their Black Friday Deals event with code BFSTEALS, ends 11/29!

Marc Fisher Stuart Weitzman boot sale
One / Two / Three / Four

This sale includes a great selection of name brand boots for less – here’s a few of my picks:

  • Sleek combat boots under $100 – I wasn’t sure what to expect from their in house brand, but these are well made with a slimmer profile than most combat boots.
  • Weatherproof Aquatalia boots. This brand makes weatherproof, classic boots with several of their tall styles running slim in the calf. These suede boots for example are listed to have a 13″ calf.
  • Suede Stuart Weitzman styles at a fraction of their retail price after the additional 50% off. I’ve loved hearing from several of you who also picked up these same Stuart Weitzman Gillian OTK boots and love them! Both the Black and Slate are still available in most sizes. As a flat heeled option, here is a stretch suede boot by SW that is nearly fully stocked starting in size 5.
  • Chic, on-trend Marc Fisher boots. Would recommend these hiker boots but note they run a bit narrow.
  • Faux suede option under $60: These Charles David black OTK boots are nearly identical to the pair I have from the brand many years ago (see them on me)! Still one of my more frequently worn pairs, when I want a simple flat boot to keep my legs warm.

They also have a large selection of designer denim, which you can filter by size for easier navigation. These Joe’s jeans have a flattering 10″ high rise and raw hem, which is easy to cut at home to your optimal length (then simply throw them in the machine washer & dryer to get the frayed hem again). And if you’re looking for cashmere in a more unique cut, this cashmere sweater has a beautifully slouchy top with dolman sleeves and a narrower banded bottom, but note the lighter yarn does shed on darker denim (lint roller or masking tape to the rescue).

reversible plaid and leopard scarf
From their accessories section, this reversible scarf find goes from a neutral plaid to a soft leopard print, and is on sale for under $20 after the 50% off promo! They also have a big selection of mens & womens’ UGG cold weather pieces on sale for gifting.

Is the back of the Stuart Weitzman Gillian OTK supposed to hit above the knee as well?

It depends on your height since it definitely does for me as someone petite, but on the model I’ve seen around the web they show it as an “at the knee” boot.

How does the SW 5050 compare with the Keelan?

Thanks Jean! I’d love any tips on how to nail the oversized look – been struggling to find slouchy sweaters that aren’t too boxy and don’t overwhelm my small frame.

I like to look for sweaters that still have narrow cuffs at the wrist to help push up in a slouchy chic style, and always pair an oversized top with fitted bottoms. With boxier cuts, half tucking into higher rise bottoms always helps for me!
