Petite denim reviews + (bump-friendly) tunic

I’ve gotten lots of requests for petite-friendly white jeans that are opaque with no rips … not an easy search, but these deliver! SE’s Kitten jeans come in several different washes, in either “ankle” or “crop” lengths. Crop is shorter, and I found it to be a perfect normal length on me hitting right at the ankles. I can’t gauge the true waist fit right now, so I laid them flat on top of my other jeans for reference. Compared to the specific J.Brand white crop jeans that I always rave about, the Kitten jeans are made of a thicker, slightly less stretchy denim material, and the overall waist and hip area runs maybe a half size bigger.

From the beauty department, lots of high-end makeup brands like Dior, Shiseido, Kiehls, Bobbi Brown, Laura Mercier, Clinique are all eligible for the 15% off! There’s a good Lancome gift with purchase right now with a $39.50 purchase – the gift should appear in your cart after meeting that minimum. Just their 24 hour longwear foundation (see my older review) alone would qualify! Another item to restock on from this sale is Laura Mercier’s Caviar Eye Stick in Khaki. I’ve repurchased this for years and years, and it’s still just so good for quick eyecolor application on the go. Simply glide it on your eyelids and blend with your finger!

Here’s a few other recommendations from this sale:

– Maternity-friendly special occasion 
WAYF off shoulder lace dress. Even though this is not maternity sizing, it’s cut generously in an A-line shape with lots of room to grow into at the belly. If you have an upcoming wedding or special event, this looks SO feminine and pretty with a skinny belt above the bump! XS hits above my knees.

– Low block-heeled pumps (~$40)
L&A ankle strap suede shoes starting in sz 6.  Style looks similar to my Sole Society Katarina pumps.

Sam Edelman Stiletto crop jeans starting in sz 23.
Wash: very light grey. Rise: 9.75″ (high). Inseam: 25″
This is my first time trying Sam Edelman jeans in general, and color me impressed by the petite-friendly cropped cuts! I can’t yet speak to how their jeans wash and wear over time, but other sites show positive customer reviews. Compared to the Kitten cut, the Stiletto has a higher rise and also comes in either “crop” or “ankle” lengths (remember “crop” is shorter).

Wash: medium blue. Rise: 9.75″ (high). Inseam: 26.5″
Slightly longer inseam with a subtle hi-low hem, that’s just about an inch shorter in the front than the back.

Vince Camuto petite jeans starting in sz petite 0.
Wash: dark blue. Rise: 8″ (medium). Inseam: 27″
Petite 0 equates to about a size 25. These are cut a little longer than the above styles. Love the wash, which is a flattering, true dark indigo blue with slight fading along the upper center thighs.
