Prada bag, Quay sunglasses, Express shorts 00 (review; runs big), JCF cami 00
In my early 20s I went through quite the slip-on sneakers phase. It was likely influenced by my laid-back southern Californian boyfriend, now husband, who usually showed up in skateboard shoes and surfer shorts. Although our styles have since matured, I still appreciate a chic slip-on, especially for travel or casual everyday outfits. These M.Gemi Cerchios (use code JEAN60 for $60 off a first order!) are the grownup version of our sneakers from the past, handmade in Italy with woven leather uppers and generously cushioned, removable insoles. Even though they have the comfort of flats, the platform sole and cushioning lend a little extra boost for shorter legs. This particular style sold out within a week of launch, and was just recently re-stocked!
Some of you might remember my previous post with M.Gemi highlighting a few classic leather flats (their Pastoso and Felize loafers are hands-down my favorite), and I’m partnering with them today to celebrate their first Boston store location! Fellow Bostonians may have already spotted their new storefront in Boston. It just opened today, so be sure to stop by if you’re shopping in the area!
Fit wise, the Cerchio leather sneaker runs on the bigger side and can accommodate wider feet, so I went down to a 35 (online suggests those with narrow feet to size down) which are actually still loose on me. Note the shoe itself is heavier than I expected for the style, but doesn’t bother me even when walking long distances. For the Felize and Pastoso loafers, I own mostly 35.5 but can go either way – if they’re a little snug on you in the beginning, genuine leather or suede should stretch a bit with wear. With pointed toe heels, I almost always go up to 35.5 in most brands to give my toes some room, and it’s no exception with M.Gemi pumps sizing.
Thank you to M.Gemi for partnering on this post.
Love those shoes, definitely made me re-think they style and give me some new inspiration for the late summer/fall when I'm ready to cover my toes again. I think they'll be great for travel too!
Love the SW boots! Such a good height and they look amazing!
Thank you for the detailed post! I always feel like I buy the same stuff when I shop, this helps me branch out!

Chic! I've gotten so many sneakers this past year as well, after not wearing them for a long long time (except for going to the gym). It's one of those things that will never go away, and always comes back every couple years…

I love slip-on shoes and these are so, so cute! I really like that this pair is a little more grown up and sophisticated than other options out there.
