I had mentioned these shorts in a recent post, and hope some of you were able to snag your size! Petites is nearly sold out, but regular sizing is still fully in stock. LOFT bottoms in general usually run big, so I look for items in 100% cotton which might shrink a bit in the machine dryer (and if that doesn’t work, then it’s off to the tailor). These shrunk an entire size, and ended up fitting really well. The material did get a bit duller though, typical of when things get dried on high heat. 
As I’m sure you guys can tell, I can’t put down these fun Quay sunglasses lately (pronounced “key” – which I finally learned after telling people “kway” about a dozen times). I have a tough time finding sunglasses that don’t slide down my nose and flatter my face, so whenever I come across a good pair I wear it to pieces.
The material of these are thicker and textured, a quality which I happily noticed on a lot of LOFT’s shorts. It’s looks more expensive in my opinion, and can easily be dressed up or down. I’ve also worn this with a simple, breezy cotton button-down for lazy afternoons, and with my ASOS ruffle sleeve white top (just got fully restocked! see my review here) for going out.
LOFT has a few other pairs of cute shorts this season at very good prices – I like the look of the tweedy shorts, the riviera shorts, and these sailor striped ones (regular sizing only). Most of those are on sale already plus extra 40% off right now, with good reviews!

Sometimes the reason for sunglasses slipping down is because the earpiece area isn't bent properly on smaller places. If you like a specific pair but want it to stop slipping down or want it to fix better, bring it to your optometrist. If there are nose pieces, they can adjust that too! Usually the job is so small that they'll probably do it for free.

The sunglasses pastel color is very summery. I'm on the same boat, I can't put down my tortoise Karen Walker Number One sunnies, they fit just right and I get the mispronunciation more than you know. I'm from Ecuador so many brand names I tend to pronounce them as I would in Spanish and every now and then I get the raised eyebrow wondering what I tried to say 🙂
I'm really into these wedges, I've been looking for a tan alternative and I may need to try these.
