As a blogger and avid blog reader, I enjoy taking inspiration and recommendations from others. It’s fun to see the same items or outfit tips on different people, but it’s also easy to lose one’s style identity within this smaller blogging niche. One way I try to incorporate “identity” into outfits composed of ubiquitous petite favorites is through jewelry and layering. I love shopping on eBay and thrift stores for (hopefully) unique pieces, and layering textures to create a different look.
In this outfit are three petite faves: LOFT cuffed pants (Kelly’s signature pants : P), AT Factory shell, and AT skinny belt. I added a little lace vest and a basketweave swing jacket for texture, plus thrifted pearls and my coral ring for a pop of color.
See this outfit in LOFT’s facebook pants feature : )
Swing Jacket: Banana Republic sz 0 (altered)
Purse: LV Speedy 25 Belt: Ann Taylor Skinny Belt
I googled your post to find a pic of the turnlock CC earrings to show my friend. lol 🙂
Your blog is so inspiring! I've spent all weekend reading it when I should have been studying for the darn CFA…
Thanks for all the amazing tips and inspirations!
great
Jean, you look like a movie star! I love the way you pose; you look so effortless. Thumbs way up!
You look stunning in these pics! Really, very professional looking. I love that little vest from H&M.; is that a recent find? I would love to get one for myself!
I love these photos and agree with the last comments…you are very photogenic and lovely in ALL the outfits you wear! Great blog too! : )
Your bf is so talented, and you are so photogenic. Love these photos, and your style is seriously amazing. I learn so much from your blog!
Aww! I agree with the ladies…both you and Nick are so talented! I am especially loving that first picture! "Luscious" comes to mind!
I also have to say, that vest is so pretty!
I am trying to add more uniqueness through statement accessories (inspired by bloggers). I usually do not like bright colors or super bold patterns on me, so I am compensating by making my accessories more fun. 🙂
PS. A question for Nick…is the Sepia tint given within the camera or post processing? If so what software is used?
This is beautiful! You look great in these photos, OMG! *__*
I love your personal style and everything. I always love looking at your pics (review ones as well).
gorg!
I love it! And btw… these are really great photos of you! 🙂

This outfit is gorgeous!!!! Keep up the great work!!! <3
I love that you remixed here. Can you do more of these??? I think seeing how everyone styles their outfits is THE BEST. Especially when they take one piece and where it multiple ways!
Great job!
very nice! love the whole look and it's very sophisticated. 🙂
New reader to your blog and love it! I am about your height but a size or two bigger so I also struggle mightily to find clothes. I just about died of joy when you talked about the handbag drop lengths…no one else knows what I'm talking about! Lol. I've learned to dress myself presentably for work but lately have been playing more with different lengths and styles of items. Great ideas and great color…it's inspired me to mix some of my own items!
Wow everything in these pictures look gorgeous–especially YOU! The photography is amazing and I realize you've been asked this a million times but seriously. Are you a model???
