Floral + tan at the Eiffel Tower

This feminine outfit was one of my favorite looks from our recent trip - see this full floral skirt styled differently here, here and here! Typically I would not style over-the-knee boots with a longer skirt since it doesn't leave a "gap," but I wore these tall suede boots for warmth and didn't mind the full-coverage look!

End of summer chambray

Since it sounds like summer is far from over for many of you, I wanted to post a few forgotten photos of looks to beat the heat in! I've heard so much good feedback about this embroidered chambray romper after sharing it on Instagram. Scallop sandals 2 ways ~ midi dress + palazzo pants

Living and commuting in a city like Boston (uneven pavement and brick sidewalks galore), I end up wearing out my favorite walking shoes more often than I'd like. I was looking to replace some staple nude sandals that have seen better days, and this scalloped pair by Sam Edelman (just found these on slight sale) caught my eye. It features the low, stable block heel and deep tan color that I look for in versatile everyday shoes. These were comfy after I figured out the right tightness for the ankle straps, but note it took some trial and error between too tight and too loose. Here are two looks that I wore these sandals with recently.

Postcards from Provence, France with L’Occitane

It’s always interesting to me how people discover certain products or brands. One day a few years back, I was particularly worked up about something so Nick’s mom insisted, “Here, take a whiff of this! It’ll help you de-stress!” What she rubbed onto my wrists was one of L’Occitane’s lavender oils, purchased during her trip to Provence. And while I’ve used and loved a handful of L’Occitane products since then, I never knew too much about the brand beyond the basics: a lovely bath and skincare company based in France.
