Cozy Off the Shoulder Knits + Rag & Bone Jeans (on sale!)

fall outfit ideas off shoulder sweater lace up heels

Aerie sweater xxs (3 colors), Rag & Bone jeans sz 24 (25% off w/ FRIENDS)

For those who loved this off-the-shoulder sweater from my post last year, I found a few dupes this season to satisfy all your OTS cravings! ASOS has one in cream that is similar and classic, plus comes in both regular and petite sizing (which should have shorter sleeves and overall length). The one I’m wearing here is surprisingly from American Eagle, which I haven’t shopped at in quite some time. It’s by Aerie, which I usually associate with undies and at-home loungewear, but this sweater is actually a nice and thick knit. It has a slightly flared silhouette at both the torso and sleeves, and is shorter in length which worked out well for me.

These Rag & Bone jeans are definitely one of my wardrobe favorites, with just a little distressing at the right places. This exact style is still available at both Shopbop & Bloomingdales, where you can get 25% off and free shipping with code FRIENDS right now! The shorter 29″ inseam is still a tad long on me, however I just create a fold right above the hem and tuck the excess material in. That way, the original frayed hem still shows and the fold is pretty much unnoticeable (see last photo for a closer-up)! See my original post on these jeans and more outfits with them here and here.

I think the length will be just fine on you because this is on the shorter side for me. However i'm not sure how the width and sleeves differ from one size to the next. I saw the Aldo shoes at Macy's in NYC but when I went online, I can't find them anywhere!! Macy's stores do ship for phone orders though, I believe.

I think The Skinny is a specific cut of their skinny jeans. But not all The Skinny is shorter in length! This particular style just happens to be an ankle length and not full

Do you think the xs will be too large? I'm 5'0. Also where did you find those Aldo dupes for the SM Claara?

What's the difference (besides length) between R&B; skinny jeans versus "The Skinny"? I wear a 25 in their regular skinny jeans, which I love, but I'm 5'1" and always have to have them tailored(which they do at the R&B; store for free…
