After taking a 6 month hiatus from YouTube, I felt so encouraged by some of your messages that I decided to try again. My friend Jimmy generously opened up his bright space to me so that I can fit more than a head and chest into the frame. I felt a mile away from the camera and tried using a mic (gifted by my thoughtful little brother), so please bear with the severe volume swings. This was also my first time recording with friends present, thus was a nervous chatterbox. The multitude of challenges faced while filming a basic video make me really appreciate YouTubers like WendysLookbook who produce amazing ones, time and time again.

– BR Factory white pencil dress (similar), $99 got on sale for $60 and altered at home

H&M; always has some options – my second most favorite belt is a brown faux-leather with gold buckle belt that I wear in many posts. It comes with a $35 sleeveless shirtdress, which is back in stock again in stores.
FastFoodandFastFashion did a quick tutorial on the tucking. I only did the last step slightly different and will try to show it some time in the future : )
Thank you – yes I did, it was just getting too raggedy and long.
I got 00 Petite and did some alterations which I will share in a bit.
Hi Megan – the width is about 1" (it's the more narrow option out of their options..sometimes called the mini). I got it as a gift, but the ones I was watching and bidding on before that went for about $300-$400 pre-owned.
Hi Jean, I really love your style. Do you mind if I ask how much is the Hermes belt and what is its width?
great video. it's very informative. you look nice in the br dress. 😀
What size is your BR dress? Is it petite?
Great video! I'm not trying to be mean, but where you're pointing to at 5:28 is really awkward. You could've point to another wine color on the map. Please don't be discouraged, I really love and miss your videos.
Wonderful video, Jean! I love how professional and pretty your pieces are!
Hi Jean, did you get a haircut? (: And your video was so informational and great as always!!
your personality reminds me so much of wendyslookbook! you two must be friends!
love this video Jean, and always appreciate your blog posts.
"channel the pilgrim look" – that made me rofl.
Happy 4th of July!
Would appreciate if you could include a tutorial on tie & tuck in your blouse over a dress as shown in https://www.extrapetite.com/2012/06/signature-style-classic-tweed-pencil.html & https://www.extrapetite.com/2011/12/h-spring-review-emerald-green-pencil.html.
Love the outfits! Especially the one with the Peplum Skirt! I'm also on the petite side as well, but can never find any Peplum Skirts that can fit.
I have just recently joined the petite blogger community ~ http://www.perfectinpurple.com.

I think you did a fabulous job with this video. I do the same thing when I'm trying to coordinate new prints (hold the garment up to my wardrobe). Also, you are extremely articulate, which made this video very easy on the ears. 🙂 keep up the great work.
Jean, It's obvious that you're becoming more comfortable in front of the camera! Great video. I especially love the white dress and how you accessorized it.
Ahhh SPG's skirt looks fantastic on you Jean!

The white goes so well with those belts. Do you have any more price-friendly options for the belt instead of Hermes?

Thanks for posting another video! Very stylish and well filmed.
Also I'm a bit late on this, but your earlier post from when you bought the white dress was very helpful. I didn't notice the things you mentioned about the fit (off the rack) until you pointed it out. I find myself examining clothes a little more closely before I purchase them since I started reading your blog!
I am so very honored to have my skirt in your video! That pilgrim collar? Total DO! The peplum can also be worn as an in-your-face sash (which is what my toddler was prancing around with the other day, LOL).
Loved your pairings for everything, but especially the preppy look! What kind of watch are you wearing? I think my next DIY will be a slim, white dress 🙂
Great video, and I do love that white dress x
