I wanted to share another installment of work outfit ideas that are easy to recreate using staple pieces! This might be my favorite set of looks yet, as each individual outfit is very much my style and feels effortless yet classic. One tip I’ve shared before is to stick with a mix of 3 colors for each look. For spring easing into summer, I worked with lots of soft neutrals like shades of beige, cream, and taupe while using black or navy as an anchor in each outfit.
I also wanted to mention again how much I’ve been appreciating both my Sam Edelman loafers AND heels (sold at Saks and Nordstrom)! These have been the perfect duo – a comfortable flat shoe and classic nude pump that finish pretty much any outfit. Both styles were also recently restocked in pretty much all sizes!
1. Navy, Ivory + Beige
One of my favorite, lightweight drapey trousers from last year were just restocked in a rainbow of colors! Short and Petite sizing fit almost the same, so I can fit either. Also see them styled on me here and here.
2. Black, Cream + Stripes
My favorite button-down that I have in both solid white and this light grey/white stripe. I love the light weighted-ness and the slouchy, just oversized enough fit. These high rise black straight jeans I love are from last year but Express just came out with the same cut again.
3. Taupe, Black + White
4. Camel, Black + White
5. Taupe, Beige + White
Which look here was your favorite?
I love the outfits! Plus the Chanel bag!
Love the Chanel bag for the outfit!
Hi Jean! Just tried to use your code at Sarah Flint but it’s invalid. Did I miss my opportunity? =(
Hi Sue, I just reached out the brand and my code has been reactivated!
Can you share the color and size of that Chanel
Bag? I’m in the market and love that piece. Thanks!
Hi Jessica, my bag is a medium flap in beige Claire!
Where can I get a very similar skirt? Sadly Edited is out of stock. I wanted one for our Japan trip during spring. 🙁
Is there a release date for the skirt? I don’t want to miss it. Thanks!
Hi Laura, thank you so much for your interest in the skirt! We plan to launch it this month, but at the moment I don’t have a more specific date I can share
