It’s wet, windy, and cold in Boston today, so I’m channeling warmer thoughts via this summery linen tunic. It’s made of sturdy linen fabric with beautiful detailing, including rows of tiny pom poms, floral embroidery, and eyelet lace that’s hard to fully capture in photos. I’m actually wearing a regular size xs, shrunken in the dryer (linen can change quite a bit on high heat, so dry carefully). I didn’t realize this top was available in petites online, but reviews confirm that the regular runs a little small compared to AT’s usual sizing. Update: They just re-stocked this online in petites, which should fit better on someone my size!
These olive jeans are so stretchy and soft – they feel similar to jeggings but are not too thin. I’ve also worn them with this fleece knit top below (read my review) for an ultra comfy outfit:
Paige makes some of my favorite petite-sized designer denim in general, with a pretty good range on their website (free shipping & returns) including ankle, boot, and full flare silhouettes. I saw that one of my beloved styles from years ago are back, in the same Hoxton petite cut (also sold at Anthro) but a different wash. See my old Hoxton petite jeans on me here – they didn’t fit this well in the beginning, but became perfect after a machine wash and dry.
For linen lovers, I also tried on this super lightweight palm-print tee (good for hot, humid temps) and lace-up peplum top from Ann Taylor’s latest arrivals. The linen tee is shown dressed down with shorts, but I’d also style it tucked into pants or a white skirt for summer workwear. The lace-up peplum top is in a looser swingy fit that’s breezy and also suited for hot weather. It hit me at a longer tunic length and looked cute paired with skinny jeans or shorts.
