Just a quick post today re-styling some of my favorite pieces from this past season. I last wore this lemon top tucked into a pencil skirt in this post, and these distressed white jeans have made several appearances including here and here. I love that they are the perfect ankle length on my shorter legs with no hemming needed (I make sure to keep them out of the dryer to prevent unwanted shrinkage).
Tassels are everywhere this year and I love the youthfulness they add to an outfit. Earrings are a way to dip your toes into the trend if you're not quite sure about it yet! I finally got these in (Baublebar's "pinata" style) after being on the waitlist for some time, and love how they swing with movement. Please note they are a little weighty - not terribly heavy in my opinion, but I can see how some wouldn't want to go all day with them on. BB is out of stock on several styles currently, but Nordstrom carries their earrings as well.
Meet the newest member of my bag family - she's a medium flap in minty blue caviar leather with gold hardware. After owning both small and medium classic flaps, I think this size is the most versatile for everyday use. It's roomy enough for all of my essentials and more, without being disproportionate on a shorter frame.
The strap is not intended to go cross-body, but is just barely long enough that way on someone my height (see photos above) and is one of my favorite ways to wear it!
