I love it when older favorite pieces make a comeback! My skirt is from last year (see older posts) but was fully re-stocked in black, and my top sold out quickly last season (see older post) but is now available again in all sizes. Nordstrom asked me to do a post on summer handbags, which is how I discovered that my Coach bag is also back in a new version. I was bummed when they stopped making turnlock crossbody bags last year since I think it’s one of their most classic signature styles. They also have this crossbody w/ adjustable strap in a similar canary yellow, which just went on sale as part of their half-yearly event!
Another useful bag for summer is my Sole Society Cassidy travel duffle for those weekend trips. I’m not sure if the current pricing at Nordstrom is temporary but it’s 40% less than the usual $80!
Another bag I wanted to point out (very budget friendly at under $50) is Street Level’s new slouchy zippered tote. Street Level makes those popular, reversible faux-leather totes that you guys may have seen at multiple stores – my friend has one which I steal sometimes but it’s very big at 17″ x 13″. The measurements of this newer zippered tote are smaller at 13″ x 12,” similar to what I look for in tote bags yet should still be able to fit medium-sized laptops.
These shoes continue to be one of my favorites for walking around the city – they are still notably more comfortable than my other Soludos, so I’d recommend these the most if you’re thinking of getting a first pair. Once again as a fit note, I did not find the need to size up per the instructions – I’m usually a 5 to 5.5 and got a 5 in these. They were very snug in the beginning but the leather stretched to my feet with wear.
