Maison Jules popover dress xxs c/o (2 colors)
Soludos espadrilles, Celine nano bag, Theirry Lasry sunglasses
Chambray is one of my favorite fabrics - it has some hardiness like denim and texture like linen, but is softer against the skin. When I saw this combo of chambray and crochet lace (also comes in all white) from Maison Jules' latest arrivals, I thought it felt playful and unmistakably summer. I paired it with my cross-body bag and platform espadrilles for an afternoon of showing my family around town. I just realized this dress is part of their "mommy & me" line with a coordinating frock for the little girl in your life...gah! Too cute.
I've had a few finds now from this brand in my regular rotation (like this cotton gingham dress from an earlier post which fit nicely off the rack). This dress is another good quality piece made of 100% cotton with crochet embroidery that goes around the back, convenient side pockets, and petite-friendly proportions.
The waistline on this is elasticized so it has a little give, and there is a metal half zipper at the upper back for entry. From their latest summer arrivals, I also tried on this flattering navy striped dress which was very fitted on me in size xxs, and this darling scalloped lemon top (roomy fit FYI - I took xxs).
Measurements of this dress in xxs: 15" across the armpit, 11.5" stretching up to 15" across the waist, and 32" total length.
Thank you to Maison Jules for partnering on this post!
