This transitional period between summer and fall is one of my favorite times of the year in New England. The temps cool a bit to bearable conditions, the leaves begin to turn...and I overzealously unpack my storage bins of sweaters and coats. While it's not quite time for those yet, I do love incorporating a little Fall into my outfits such as with pops of jewel-tone colors. To this basic black and white pairing, I added the "Lux" pumps from Sole Society in a beautiful, saturated berry suede. They have a work-appropriate closed toe and 3.5" heel, however the straps bring enough something extra so they could easily also be statement shoes for going out.
For those who like evening bags with plenty of holding space, this foldover Marlena clutch is one of the roomier ones I've seen. There is one large central pocket fully lined in a spotted animal print, and inside is one zipped compartment and a small pocket with no zipper. It's made of faux leather (available in 3 colors), which in my experience from my Cassidy travel bag, is really easy to keep clean and looking like new.
Speaking of their Cassidy bag, for those looking for a travel duffle bag, both that one (see it with me often on the road here, here, here and here) and their larger Lacie version are now back in stock in 4 color options each after being sold out for a while. Please note the Cassidy is truly a "weekender" style bag and will fit about 2 outfits, so if you tend to pack generously then the Lacie would be a better option. You can read my detailed review of the Cassidy bag in this old post.
Thank you Sole Society for partnering on this post! Their fall collection is full of this rich berry color both for bags and shoes - I've included a few other classic options below in lower and mid-height heels.
