ReplyDeleteI like both stores for different things. I like Marshalls for their shoes and scarves. The one closest to my house is pretty messy, so I could never really find any apparel that I like. At TJ Maxx, I love looking through their luggage and handbags, as well as shoes and beauty products. I've found some great discounted hair products there. I also love looking through their toy section to buy something for my baby nephew. This is the second year I found something for him that will entertain him for a bit so my sister and brother in law can have a short break for themselves.

Being petite herself, she has been my guiding angel. She is a scarf fanatic. My sister makes fun of her but I love how she pairs really odd patterns and colors together. ReplyDeleteCool giveaway Jean! So far, my best find at Marshalls was my first pair of J Brand jeans for about $80. After that, my love for J Brand jeans blossomed! Unfortunately, I haven't found them in Marshalls in a long time and have since been paying much more for them at other retailers. At TJ Maxx, I found a great Michael Kors handbag. Buttery smooth brown leather, just the right amount of pockets and zippers, and large enough to tote a bottle of water or cardigan if I need to.

ReplyDeleteI personally don't have a favorite find (I buy too much from both stores to pick a favorite) but I'd love to use the gift card toward getting my mom a nice grown up winter coat (rather than the "mom" coat she has now). She's the reason I love TJMaxx (plus the prices are perfect for a college student budget).
