$10 for $20 at Old Navy = Cute sweaters for $5 a piece

Deal is now closed. If you haven't seen this yet, Groupon is having a $10 for $20 at Old Navy (referral) offer that ends soon. This is a pretty great deal especially since their cute sweaters often go down to $10 or less. See Sydney's timely review of some current styles. I'm going to wait for post-holiday sales before using mine.

I hope you guys are enjoying (or will soon be enjoying) some time off with your families. Yesterday, I went out to celebrate my dear grandpa's 80th birthday. In the absence of my trusty photographer, I asked the little brother to snap some quick outfit pics. Next thing I knew - my entire curious family had joined in! Oh, the raised eyebrows from passerbys : )

  20. Happy bday to your grandpa! My fam is the same way with taking pics. In my wedding, there were over 4 other friends/family taking pics with their big professional cameras. Maybe it's an Asian thing...btw, my family is chinese. : )

    I saw your tweet about some new Chanel bag? the one thats $2100? I'm sort of dying to know more about it even though I know it won't be easy on my heart/wallet. The size looked comparable (almost) to a Jumbo even though its a "clutch" but the price seems so bearable after all of the price increases, doesn't it? lol I literally went "thats it!?" My boyfriend was like "How is $2100 cheap for a purse"

    the pictures on the site doesn't do it justice! The first time we saw it, my mom and I literally did a double-take and she's not even a big Prada fan! We were like "We must find this bag!" The size is so adorable too. Did you know the largest Prada store in the U.S. is in Vegas? its 3 stories high! So large that I was inches away from walking in to a mirror before my mom stopped me lol I thought I was walking in to another room! Clearly thats a show of how well they clean their mirrors =P

  34. Jean, as the year winds down, I wanted to say a heartfelt thank you for all your hard work on this blog. You have made a huge impact on my ability to look pulled together, not an easy feat for a petite physics professor (we physicists usually tend toward the Einstein end of the fashion spectrum :). The timely tips on sales are fantastic, making great items reasonable instead of splurges. When a student recently said "You don't dress like a professor" I knew I owed that compliment to you.
