To celebrate Labor Day, Banana Republic is holding a Win Your Salary promo. One lucky person will win their salary for a year. To enter, like BR on Facebook to get your game piece. Bring your game piece in-stores Sept. 2nd-5th to see if you've won the grand prize. Apparently you get a coupon for shopping if you don't win. BR also offered a mini-giveaway for the readers of Extra Petite. One lucky reader will win a $100 gift card, redeemable in US or Canada, in-stores or online!

To enter my mini-giveaway, like BR on Facebook and leave a comment on this post sharing what you would do if you won your salary. I adore the menswear look and slouchy fit of this sweater blazer, but sadly the material is itchy. I will be returning it for something else - possibly the beautiful silk camp shirt as seen on Kelly. These J Brand legging jeans arrived from Hautelook and are a fantastic fit in sz 24, except they may need a hem. I'm selling the same pair in sz 23 on my blogsale. Did anyone else order from the Hautelook J Brand sale?

  11. I would put half towards my mortgage, start a savings account for future kids, donate some to charity and then go traveling! I'd love to go to Japan, or backpack around Europe. And of course, winning something cool like that deserves a new pair of fancy shoes :P

  24. I'm not sure how it works if you are in school, but if I won my salary after graduating this year, I would update my wardrobe with some much needed sheath dresses, blazers and pencil skirts for embarking on my new career as a lawyer, and the rest would go towards decorating my condo!

    If I won a year's salary, I would first go shopping (I've finally gained the weight back that I lost my last year of college, which I desperately needed to do--but now none of the professional clothes I bought for my first post-college job fit!) and then use the rest to help pay for my SO's master's degree so he can follow his dream of becoming a teacher.

My question may be not relevant to this post, but do you know an alternative version of Ann Taylor perfect pump with lower (and maybe bigger) heels (2-3 inches)? Many petites love them, but I still find it difficult to wear small/too high heels. Thanks a lot!

    I'm a SAHM, so not sure what my current salary would be (one squillon dollars LOL!)

    If I won the contest, I would take my WHOLE family on a cruise (my hubby, kids, parents, sister, BIL, niece and nephew). If I had money left over, I'd buy a designer bag and put the rest into savings :-)
