Their more mature clothing and generous petite sizing is a miss for me, however I was very impressed by their shoes - most of which are genuine leather, nicely crafted, with chic high heels (unexpected for a brand that targets older women).

ReplyDeleteAren't these deals crazy? My Talbots shoes have stood the test of time. I think they skewed too high of a heel and fashion forward w/their shoe offerings from last fall. Lucky for those of us that like the higher ones. Thanks for the link love.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the info. I agree Talbots has a mature look but I depend on them for my timeless anchor pieces. Their clothing is of great quality and they have fabulous sales (i.e. your shoe post). Just bought a skinny leather belt for $2.34 from the outlet. I've had a navy blue skirt from there for at least 15 years. It's snug but I refuse to give it up because it still looks fabulous! Lots of petite/small foot sizes too.

ReplyDeleteI bought three pairs after seeing your post. They weren't final sale when I bought them but the shipping notification says that they are final sale :( I hope they fit! Did anyone else have this problem?
ReplyDeleteI called Talbots customer service and my purchase isn't final sale (phew!) because I placed the order last night. The shoes were marked down as final sale this morning and that's why they show up as such.
ReplyDeleteI bought the peep toes in both the almond and pink yesterday in a size 6. This morning, I got an email saying that the almond was out of stock and that I will not be getting them!!!! So bummed out!!!!

ReplyDeleteI noticed the same issue! I ordered some items in two sizes so I could try them on first and return one size. I just chatted with their customer service though and he said I'll be able to return whew!
I have the bow platform heels and they're probably my new favorites! I didn't get them at as good a steal as you, but still. Love em'!

ReplyDelete@asinha Ah based on your weight and height the 0P is going to be way too big on you. I ordered a 0P blazer from there a few months back and it was so huge and terrible looking I had no motivation to even take photos for a blog review.
