1. Theory "Gracie" Blazer ($255 from $385) - has the famous "Gratian" blazer been revived from the dead? You be the judge. The Gracie looks slightly longer in the torso and sleeves, but there's no sz00 online for me to try. Someone will have to check this out in-store and report back on whether it's petite-friendly!

2. Michael Kors Watches on sale for approx 35% off. I love the oversized look of his watches, but it may or may not work on small wrists. You get to choose from silver, gold, rose gold, tortoise (my favorite), and more. My friend had one that she wore almost every day before it fell to it's death.

i love MK watches! I have a silver one & my wrist is freakishly tiny. I'm only 5' but the watch fits pretty good. Not overwhelming. I'm so tempted to get a rose gold one, so pretty!!
ReplyDeleteFor Bloomingdales, you can go on the live chat and see if you can talk your way into letting them waive you the shipping fee. :) My Sales Agent was kind enough to waive my shipping for me!

ReplyDeleteWendy~ you are bold! I think it also depends on the Chat Agent you end up with. I was on hold for a good 7 minutes before I got through to an agent. He seemed kind of curt, so I chickened out and didn't bother to ask to waive the shipping fee.
Ha I was just on their site looking through Theory blazers and was wondering if it was petite friendly too!!! I might get a Halogen blazer instead because they have petite sizes.

ReplyDeleteHey Jean, I have the rose gold MK watch but the chronograph model which also has more crystals on the face. I believe it's 38 mm. I had the same concerns since my wrists are very small, but I looooooove the oversized style of this watch! I like to wear this watch when I'm wearing a more feminine or delicate outfit, like with a mini floral sundress. I've received compliments on the watch from some gfs. :)

@Jessica Y. I'm sorry for the confusion - I wrote $75 off but I updated the post so it's more clear. $75 for this would be an awesome deal...I paid $175 not including tax, so a savings of $75 off of the current retail of $250.

ReplyDeleteI found the size 0 Gracie blazer at Nordies today (too big) & asked a sales associate to look for size 00 in the store system. She couldn't find any! She wasn't sure if they were all sold out already, or if Nordstrom just didn't order any in that size. :(
I love the tortoise one you purchased, Jean! Great choice! I've been looking for a good MK watch for the longest time... I was debating between all the colour choices. Don't you wish you can have them all? LOL If the watch is still too loose for you, you can adjust it with some kit you can buy for like a buck. My bf just bought one for his new watch and the links look similar to the MK ones. I'm not sure how to do it, but when I get one, I'll just get him to adjust it for me. -_-

Jean! Thank you so much for this post. You convinced me to finally get the MK oversized watch today! I was eyeing this watch for a while and it didn't seem to get on sale. This is a great opportunity to snatch up one. The oversized look takes getting used to, but I like it! I got the pure gold one with no blings. I am wearing them like a bracelet. :)
