Ann Taylor - Take almost 50% off sale items!

I was going to pass on the Ann Taylor friends and family sale this time around but PetiteLittleGirl tweeted about an awesome deal that I had to share (thank you PLG!). It appears that last night Ann Taylor added an extra 25% off (no code needed) to all sale items on their site, which can be combined with their 30% off friends & family.

How it works:
1. Browse the Ann Taylor sale section by your size (extra 25% off is automatic)
2. Add friends and family code FBFRIENDS at checkout for another 30% off
3. Don't forget the shop through ebates for 6% cash back at Ann Taylor (referral link)
4. Automatic free ship on orders over $100!
What I picked up:



I had to get all my tropical wool skirts taken in even in 00P, but since this is stretchy and "high-waisted" I am hoping it will fit with no alterations needed.

2. Perfect Covered Platform Pump in 5.5 - $178 now $52.50 !! I tried these on in-store and thought they ran smaller than Ann Taylor's other perfect pumps. I usually size down half a size for the perfect pumps but these *almost* fit in a size 6. I think they are too high for business attire so maybe they'll work for weekend wear.
Edit: Alas these sold out in my size while I was browsing so I picked up this navy exposed zipper skirt in 00P that Elle of Fast Food and Fashion also bought in order to get free shipping.

3. Perfect Suede Pumps in navy (now $52.50 from $155). I have never seen perfect pumps at this price and still left in tiny sizes. I have the gray pair and have worn them so much this season. For reference a 5 fit me perfectly and I think I'm a true 5.5 in most sizes. Happy shopping!

  2. I just blogged about this amazing deal too :) I ordered them yesterday so there was no additional 25% off. I am wondering if I can have a price adjustment with the order slip. We can't really beat this deal :)

Jean-- i saw that skirt and was thinking about it...then i thought it might be too long/big and will need alterations, hopefully that is not the case. i think im going to stop by a local AT and try on their stuff instead. i finally got my asos stuff and everything was a tad too big. i thought i ordered everything in the smallest size, but i guess i didn't. i looked at the tag and everything says UK 6/ US 2. I'm having bad luck with ordering online lately :(

  11. It seemed to only say "one promotion per order"...which means I could only get the 25% :( There was no space for a promo code for the FBFRIENDS code :( Am I doing something wrong?

    I thought it was that we'd get the 25% AND the 30% but it seems that we can only get teh 25% since I didn't enter the friends code :/

  14. @Anonymous which item are you trying to purchase? Does it say "take an extra 25% off" in the description? If so then the price that shows up at checkout already reflects that discount.

    The $31.49 off your 104.98 is actually 30% off, so maybe you did enter the friends code previously.

  15. @Ping Oh noo! Thankfully you can return the ASOS stuff all in one bunch though. You would definitely need their petite 4 sizing.

    Btw I wish Ann Taylor carried our size in stores but they dont. No shoes under size 6, no clothing under 0P or XSP...hence gotta order online. Sigh!

Too bad about the Fitted Silk Blouse that I had bought some time ago now you can get for ~$20 (highly recommend was the one I wore with the jcrew lace skirt).   20. Btw I understand about the word verification thingy. They really should do some sort of IP thing where if we've commented enough times and you "accept" us, then we should be able to bypass it! Only new people who have commented less than 10x should use the verification! GRRRRRRRR
