*Coupon no longer works!!*
These sales alone were not good enough for me to jump on the shopping bandwagon...but then I discovered on a whim that 25EBATES could be stacked on for an extra 25% off...score!
Petite Scuba Lean Trouser ($45) and V-Neck Long Cardigan ($19)
My top picks are the above two items modeled previously in this fitting-room review. I ended up not opting for the lean trouser, instead got the Petite Scuba Seamed Pant (online exclusive) that I've been eying for a while along with the long cardigan in 4 colors! Oh, and ebates gives you an extra 3% back. Happy shopping : )

Oh nooo! I forgot about that EBATES25 code! I should turn in my savvy shopper card :( wah! Oh well. As you said, the prices are still phenomenal!
ReplyDeleteThose pants look very slimming and fit you well. Great price, I will have to check it out. I can't get enough of pants these days despite the fact that I just bought 3 pairs from Express!
ReplyDeleteAhhh those are great finds! Esp. the cardigan!
ReplyDeleteYou don't think 25EBATES is stackable with $25 savings card, right?
ReplyDeleteOh hurray, I saw those on PetiteXXS and I really wanted it. Oh my $19... zoooom off to shop!
ReplyDeleteThe trousers look really good. Skinny pants are so in this season. They are supposed to be a part of the "lady like" fashion.
ReplyDeleteI want those pants! I can't pull off wearing wider leg trousers so I might have to try these. Wish these coupons worked in-store!
ReplyDeleteUgh. I loved the look of those skinny trousers but they look a mess on me. I should have learned by now...skinny trousers are not my friend.
ReplyDeleteGreat stackable code sleuthing! Hmm...is there anything I need from LOFT...?
Great deal find!! I bought Scuba Lean Trousers for $55 during last week's sale, so I am returning to get the better deal. The trousers in gray are beautiful but for some reason look like sweat pants on me. So this time I'm ordering the hazelnut and black. I happen to really love the black because the material does not wrinkle or lint compared to most black dress-casual pants. Thanks for the codes!!
ReplyDeleteI was at Loft the other day (w/ the $25 cards in hands). Turns out you can apply those cards on top of the $20off pants. So, I got two pairs of scuba pants in black and gray ($160 total if full price) for $72 total plus tax! $31 bucks a pair. Sweet!
ReplyDeleteI love the pants on you! Gosh you always look so slim in pants (no muffin tops for you.) I'm petite but I do have those extra love handles!
ReplyDeleteI need to jump on this ebates business. The "bonus" of the ebates makes me want to spend spend spend! lol
ReplyDeleteThanks for tipping me off on the ebates discount! I was on the fence about getting this cardigan ("it's nice...$25 is cheap...but it's not SUCH a steal...") but now the deal is sealed. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a steal with the extra discount, I love when I find those lol
ReplyDeleteThe trousers look really good on you too I think^^
yay for stackable coupons! $19 isn't bad for cardigans. i saw a really cute cardigan/top combo at br and it was some obscene price. truly my fave cardigan though
ReplyDeleteOhhh Jean..why do you have to find all these amazing discounts? You make me want to shop non-stop :) Those cardigans are awesome. I love them. I think I am going to try them in store to get the feel because I have never tried them on. They look great on you and Liane both
ReplyDeleteWhich colors did you end up getting? And I love randomly tested coupon codes that WORK! Lol... I'm guilty of trying that too (and have successfully gotten free shipping and % off a few times!).
ReplyDeleteI have the same question as PetiteXXS - what colors did you get for the cardigan, and for the scuba pants?
ReplyDeleteYou are very dangerous for my wallet :D
Erin ... hahaha it's okay, even the savviest shoppers forget sometimes. I forget to use ebates a lot and it always irks me.
ReplyDeleteVicky - I don't think so. I think PetiteXXS tested that.
MichLA - I know...the sales for LOFT online are almost always better than in-store due to stackable deals. Usually it's opposite for retailers!
AN - oh noooo, you tried them on? If they fit baggy then the whole look will be off. Crosses fingers.
RL - I forgot they came in hazelnut! So the lean trousers right, now the skinny crops? I really liked those but I def see what you mean about the sweatpants look...that was the first descriptive word that popped into my mind when I put em on : ) Did the size fit well, though?
aquav87 - what a sweet deal! I love that they have extended sizing in stores too so you don't have to pay for shipping. Seems like everyone likes their scuba material for this season. Beats me what "scuba" means though.
DSKSteph - such a nifty business. The cash back is SO little, but their trick is they only pay you like once or twice a year so you're like wooo! 50 bucks! And then you realize how much you had to spend to earn those 50 bucks in cash back...sad face.
PLG - good for you! You should def try em on in store. You may want to size up to XSP if you get them...the arms were really snug on me.
Petite XXS and Grace - I got gray melange, the hunter green, the taupe-brown and basic black. The pants only came in gray (the trousers tho come in 3 colors). I hope to keep just two colors but wanted to try all four on with Fall outfits : )
Nice deal on the cardigan! I too tried on the petite scuba in store, but they were just slightly too wide at the bottom and short on me. I like the look of the seamed pants you bought better. I can't wait to see what they look like!
ReplyDeletethat cardi is sucha bargain, gahh, blast my new budget, blast it!! thanks so much for the post!!!
ReplyDeleteWow! I've been wanting that plum colored cardi for forever, I'll definitely have to get this - Thanks for the heads up!
ReplyDeleteJean, yup the lean trousers in 00P and I'd say they fit very well! I am a size 14 in children's pants so any other ladies larger than you shouldn't require any alterations. I ordered the hazelnut in 0P since I like my trousers looser than most. Hopefully they aren't too loose. Can't wait to read what you think about the seamed pants! From the stock photo I'm unsure what to make of the seams running down the middle.
ReplyDeleteThe 25EBATES code doesn't work for me, even when I go to the LOFT site through ebates.com ... :(
ReplyDeleteThe code did not work for me either. I wasn't able to stack the discounts. Oh well..still a good deal.
ReplyDeleteRL - I do a 12/14 in kids so I have high hopes! I think it is just stitching that makes the seams but we shall see.
ReplyDeleteAnon - Oh no! How sad...they must've realized the double dipping and took it down!
I ordered the scuba seamed pants a couple weeks ago before the code and the petite 00 is so tiny! The material is great, but I'm a bit torn. I am probably a little bigger/heavier than you - 5'1" & 100 lbs - so they may be absolutely perfect on you, but on me they feel like they are a teeny bit short and possibly a little wider at the bottom than they look like on the model. I know they are supposed to be a bit cropped, just not sure it's working on me :) Going to also order the regular length 00 to see if it works better. Can't wait to see your pics of how you style them and if they work for you! Perhaps it will inspire me to keep them.
ReplyDeleteI just got my seamed pants today and I <3 them except I may have to try a size higher because I'm also not as petite as the rest of you it seems lol. When I sit down, the pants dig into my tummy. It's the same size though as my ATL jeans, so I'm frustrated these feel smaller. When I stand up however, the pants look and feel great! I got both the grey and the black, and it's weird, the grey feels looser (but still slightly tight and restrictive when I sit down - I guess this is why I like low rise..). I may actually do an exchange even though I don't really want to pay shipping.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see how these fit on you Jean!
