Cropped Ruffled Top: Topshop Petite 0 (sold here)
Skirt: H&M "Trend" size 4
Cardigan: Martin & Osa XS
Bracelet: Akoya pearl necklace
*Petite skirt alert* - The waist on a sz 2 was unbelievably small, so I had to size up to a 4. I am in love with the silhouette of this skirt - slightly tulip-shaped with a high waist and well-placed pleats. The higher waist elongates short legs, and the pleats enhance nonexistent hips. As an added plus, the material is sturdy and does not wrinkle, and the zipper is heavy and gold-toned.
Nude low-heel pumps from Aldo
On a separate note, I picked up these Miss Trish of Capri sandals from Target yesterday. I got a very similar pair from this line last year, with little gold lions instead of seahorses. They are fairly comfy to walk in and have lasted me since last summer, so I was happy to pick up another pair...for $5 less than what they cost last year!
Miss Trish of Capri Seahorse Sandals, $24.99 (sizes 5.5 and up)
Size 5.5 on me (they look a little big in the photo, but fit me just fine)
One advantage of buying online versus in-store is that Target has a $5 off a $50 purchase coupon on retailmenot, free shipping for $50+, plus 3% cashback on ebates (click here for a referral). I'm considering returning these and ordering online instead!

That skirt is so cute! I love the pleats. And the fact you had to size up has be intrigued! I might have to go look for it. =)
ReplyDeleteDid you notice if it came in any other colors?
OMG! you look gorgeous and I love how you paired everything up so nicely!!!!
ReplyDeletePerfect spring look! I love the florals and the pleated skirt. Those are the cutest pair of sandals btw :)
ReplyDeleteThis outfit is awesome! I love it. The salmon, peach, and mustard yellow colors look great on you...Wow, is it weird that typing that made me slightly hungry? lol Must be the names.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous color palette! I've been really into those shades lately as well.
ReplyDeleteLove the nude pumps
ReplyDeleteI was just also thinking that since the skirt runs small then maybe the size 2 will fit me! I like the color palette... I probably wouldn't think to buy those items individually but they go really well together!
ReplyDeleteYour pedicure is perfect and reminding me of how much I desperately need one. In love with this whole romantic and spring outfit. I was so close to getting that skirt in purple hmmm...maybe I need to run back to H&M and look for it again haha
ReplyDeleteOh that skirt is amazing! i wonder how it washes? I've had trouble with H&M clothing shrinking :(

I really like how you matched the top with a similar color of skirt. I love Topshop :).
ReplyDeletelove the outfit! may i ask what color that is on your toenails?
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone! AN- I saw the skirt at three h and ms and they were all in the same peachy rusted color. Definitely don't love the color, but I couldn't pass up the fit!
ReplyDeleteT- it's Essie Fiji...an opaque milky pink. I love it and get it almost every time.
great look, it's so beautiful and feminine :)
ReplyDeleteI bought the same sandals and the green ones with pink flowers. Tough time choosing because didn't you think all of the Miss Trish sandals were so cute? Not quite warm enough here to wear them yet, are they comfy?
ReplyDeleteI love this look! you look so pretty in those colors :) so its good that you branched out :)

ReplyDeleteIf you have a chance- enter my 1st giveaway- it's going on now!!! :)
Ahhh I totally want those sandals, they look awesome on you! So pretty & summery on your perfectly pedicured toes! :)
ReplyDeleteAlso, love your outfit - florals look so breezy and perfect for the weather. As usual, your style is impeccable and classy!
Aww those sandals are so cute, but the size 5.5 is huge :( I tried on the kids in size 3 which was perfect, but sold out of white. *sigh* just my luck!
ReplyDeleteI think those colors look great on you! I really love the shape of the skirt.
ReplyDeleteLovin this look!
ReplyDeleteJust bought the same sandals at Target today! Glad to hear that they are durable too!
ReplyDeletethanks! i'll have to look for that polish - it will be perfect for summer!
ReplyDeletehey...those colors look great on you ! I love the skirt though I cant wear anything like it..I have hips ! Did you get the m&o xxs cardigans? How do they fit?
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this outfit!! What pretty colors! So glamorous.
ReplyDelete@ anonymous - I thought her sandals this year were lots cuter than the lion & whale last year! I'm glad she is a recurring collaboration so I can look out for it each summer.
ReplyDelete@ anonymous - try using the store locator online for a kids 3! I can see how 5.5 is huge on you since mine fit like a 6 with a little room.
@ MichLA - yay, I'm so glad you got them too! Don't take my word on durability though, the straps are thin and the connectors are elastic so I can see them wearing out soon. But for $24.99...I don't expect too much.
@ Dreamcatcher - M&O summer cardis were a bit disappointing! The XXS was much longer than the XS one I currently have, but I'm keeping it anyways. Gonna try to shrink it even though it's pre-shrunk. I hope others had better luck with their orders!
You look fabulous!!! I love the colors on you! I'm a big mush for neutrals! Those sandals are oh so cute! I'm not typically a fan of adornements on sandals but this one is so understated, I can't resist looking at it over and over! Plus your toes are oh so cute!
ReplyDeleteYou look beautiful as usual! Love the bright colors on you :)
ReplyDeleteLove this outfit on you, it's so feminine. The blouse and skirt work beautifully together :)
ReplyDeletei loooove your style! i love the idea of your blog, coz I myself is petite as well... your blog will surely help me when it comes to clothing & what not!! thank you for this.. LOL... new follower here!! hope you can check out my blog too..

I'm in love with the nude pumps, can you please direct me to which one you're wearing? are they the moos, enrich, or something else from Aldo.
ReplyDeleteHi there - I've looked online and can't find these shoes! Unfortunately I picked them up a while ago at an Aldo outlet so I think they are gone for good, sadly.
ReplyDeleteLove this outfit:) Great Combo! You have great style! Love your blog:)
