AE Outfitters - Additional 30% off Clearance and Free Ship at ANY Price

Thank you Erin for sharing this coupon! I know that most grown women prefer to not shop at AE, but this is actually a pretty great deal for some tiny basics that don't scream teeny bopper. Use code "83461705" for 30% off clearance, and no code necessary for free shipping at any price (now through Sunday).

Fellow petites - I recommend checking out the basic tees and cardigans with inconspicuous logos, as well as their shorts in 00 and pants in 00 Short. AlterationsNeeded and I both had luck with their tiny cardigans a while back. The fit was so small that I should probably size up to an XS. See her post here and mine here. Some of my picks:

Basic Tops:
1. U-Neck Modal Tee (I love modal!) or Boyfriend V-Neck Tee in XXS or XS - $5 and $7
2. Cardigan Jacket in Navy (actually had my eye on this for a while) sz XXS - $21
3. Lace Trim Softest Cami in XXS or XS - $10.50

Basic Bottoms:
1. Favorite Boyfriend Jean in 00 Short - $21
2. Favorite Pant in Gray in 00 Short - $14

And cute flats: Zebra print flat in sz 5 - $14

  3. Darn it... I already pulled the trigger on J.Crew and Ann Taylor earlier this week thanks to the great deals you posted that I couldn't pass up... I'm going to go broke if I keep reading your blog lol!

  4. @PetiteXXS ... lol, welcome to my world of reading ChloeConspiracy & AN ... I resisted LOFT and J.Crew, but not so much at Ann Taylor's current 40% off everything sale : (

Oh, you did end up buying the J.Crew top? First one or second? I popped into a store today and saw the ruffled bottom one in person and rather liked the tunic-length and ruffle detail, unfortunately it was a Large. They carry Womens 00 in store, so why not XXS? Argh!

  5. I got the bottom Grand Ruffle Shell (in all different colors and both XXS and XS lol)... I thought the top tank was cut a little too low for me. Although I can see it being really cute on someone who has a little more going on in the bust department. Someone probably already snatched up their XXS sizes... It's a good thing you don't live in Los Angeles or else I can totally see you, me and AN cat-fighting over the last XXSP or 00P somewhere! :P

  6. Ahhh, just made a big order since I'm such a sucker for modal too! And basic v-neck tees. I also bought that lace trim cami in black and navy (xxs and xs, we'll see which fits) and hubby got a couple tees and new jeans.

Yeah, AE is a bit in the low-end but it's definitely great for basics. Too bad I couldn't find any cardigans that I liked in xxs!

  10. Ooooooo did you pull the trigger?? I am considering buying even more today, how sad is that? In my defense, I only got the one thing yesterday! :)

  12. I bought the cardigan sweater in cream (XS) before my trip to Boston! It's a slim cut, very flattering and pulled-together looking. Kept me toasty in the midst of chilly days. I think I paid $19.99 in store last month.

  13. I was talking crazy when I said I was getting "tired" of the beach - I don't know what I was thinking! I miss it and can't wait to go back!

The food is definitely amazing there though, fresh seafood, scallops the size of my palm, I could eat like that everyday haha.

I love your spring work outfit contest btw, lots of great inspirational photos!

  14. I'm not an extra-petite (5'1", Size 6P) but I thought I'd chime in anyway. I buy a lot of jeans at AE and Abercrombie. They fit great in the hips and butt, that is to say, tight on someone with very little hips and a small butt.

My AE order finally shipped. I got two belts, two flats (one zebra, one gold), the Lace Trim Cami in Vintage Berry, Spring Cardigan in Button Red, and the Aerie Sunwashed Fleece Full-Zip Hoodie in Coral.

I love the outfits on your blog. Thanks for all the inspiration!
