I always refrained from doing the shorts with tights thing, thinking it would be too trendy for me. Once I tried it, though, I fell in love! And now that I'm finally comfortable with the look, winter is about to be over...bummer!

I don't usually show purses with my outfits because I have a small collection (maybe 4 bags total?) and I usually just tote around my big Longchamp. I'm picky when it comes to purses and have been hunting deliberately for 2 specific ones (Marc Jacobs "The Kid" mini stam from '07 and Chanel small or medium flap with silver HW). One day...one day.

This looks great on you! I love wearing shorts & tights together. Forever 21 shorts in size XS always run big on me, so majority of my shorts are from abercrombie kids and I have 1 pair of shorts from H&M kids. Those Bebe shorts are nice... but $79!! crazy...

Peachcharm - I do love AF kids shorts. But H&M divided size 2 runs pretty darn small now. These are tight on me in 2...but a 4 is too loose.

so glad you decided to try the shorts and tights thing, that's all I've been wearing for the past few months! and it looks great on you! being a fellow petite, I totally do that same with pushing hemlines, we can pull of some of the shortest micro minis without making it look like we're working a street corner lol. that's always been a plus for me because the shorter hemline gives the illusion of longer legs and us petites can always use that. love the fashionista pose in that last pic btw, great outfit!
